cardio cardio cardio

well yes... with my goal of running a marathon cardio is the thing that i need to focus on.

today was 12 sets of chest---bench press, incline, decline and dumb bell press. followed by... you guessed it right---40 min of cardio.

this gym has some great machines that can ensure right posture and flow for each exercise. decline press has been a sort of an achilles heel for me in the past... i was never sure whether the movement was correct. the machine here is perfect for that i need no focus on hand movement just do the reps.

More to follow as the routine develops. touch wood.

pickin up the thread...

Well... you can definitely count the number of days without the post. I need not delve into that embarrassing detail.
The only saving grace i can count on is that i did 40 minutes of cardio and 9 sets of ab exercise. Well with so many days without a post i thought it would be be(fit)ting to write one today with something to write about.
I joined a gym today with my buddy Sourav... we have a target (keeping the learnings from the previous posts in mind)- to run the Delhi half marathon in NOV. Exactly about a year after i re-started this blog.
the first baby step was today with the intense cardio work out of 20 min on treadmill, 10 min each of stepper and cycling. leg raises, knee ups and alternate side bends comprising the time spent.
tomorrow its gonna be abs first and cardio second... almost sounds like the book Employees First, Customers Second.
Well anyways, will definitely try to be more regular now... picking up the threads after seven months. wish me luck!
